CSL/LS Project Notes from Lisa A
Now that we have decided on our CSL project, it is time to kick it off! Our loose change drive to benefit the Monarch School will begin on Tuesday, June 1. Remember, we will need to really publicize it since we will wrap it up by June 14. Here are some things that you will need to do before our next class on Wednesday, June 2:
Host a lemonade or cookie stand in your neighborhood over the next two weekends; either Memorial Day weekend or the weekend of June 5. You may do this with your family or a friend. Your proceeds will go towards our project and will be a great way to boost the effort.
Bring in one or two shoe boxes, which we will decorate and make into collection boxes for each TCS classroom. Bring the boxes to school by Tuesday, June 1. You may decorate them at home if you wish.
Create a poster in Pages which describes our project, our fund-raising goal ($2500), and our deadline (June 14). This can be printed and placed near the collection boxes in the classrooms.
