Limonada [26 May 2010]
Apparently the pre-kindergarteners will continue serving lemonade for the rest of the week. No promises, but bring some more treasures!
Humanities: Send your classmates emails with feedback about their projects and presentations by the end of class tomorrow. To do so, you will need to spend some time tonight reading and viewing their work, and sending some of the emails. Send me a copy of those messages too.
Humanities: You will need to update your reflection throughout the rest of the week as you receive feedback from others. The final reflection will be due (posted to your blog) on Tuesday at the beginning of the school day.
Math: Your homework is drawing the different points of view of different polyhedra, Practice 11-8.
Science: We are performing the cow eye dissection tomorrow. Review the different parts of the eye so you know what you are looking at tomorrow. Please do not wear nice clothes to class.
Science: Try to find your blind spot using the link on the math/science tumblr.
Problem Solving: This week’s word problems are “Me and My Shadow” and “Three Prisoners”. Please do all work on a separate piece of paper and show your thinking in a clear and organized manner. These problems are due Friday.
Logic Problem (Optional): You were given “Bowling Team Averages” and/or “Interpreters” to complete. This is not required. You have until Monday to complete the puzzle.
Census: Your census infographic is due Tuesday, June 1. You should be working on this at home when you are not given class time.
Español: Escriban una actualización (update) en su proyecto. Súbanlo a su sitio Tumblr.
Yearbook: Orders are due Friday, June 4.
Rocks and leaves, and sticks and stones.
